Listening to XX Sports Radio on my way to work this morning, I heard an interview with ex-San Diego Charger linebacker Junior Seau. The hosts of the show were trying to get Junior to say that he?d like to play for the Chargers again, citing our (yes, ?our? linebackers like, I?m on the team) injury-riddled linebacker corps and overall lack of fire?which sounds like the European leg of the WCT.

Junior was not interested in the speculation, ?I?m surfing, man. That?s what I?m doing. I?ll listen to offers, but I?m surfing,? he said.

One of football?s best ever players, Seau was born and raised in the same town as Transworld SURF?Oceanside, California?and with a killer pad right on the beach, Junior Boy has been ripping his massive Donald Takayama (who taught Junior the ins and outs of surfing) log when his schedule permits.
